Artist Spotlight: Part Seventy-Three

I have someone new for you this time 'round, Debbi of Our Home to Yours and, with her daughter, Yankee Burrow Creation.

A mom with three kids still at home, she spends her days caring for them and playing with her grandson, or just hanging out with her husband.

This brave woman's only employment is handmade and the shops for which she creates.  That explains her varied talent, as does her love of creating things that others will enjoy.

Enough talk, check out some of the photos!

I love the sheer variety, but have to comment on a couple special things.  One is that adorable crocheted alien buddy.  Too cute!  He's the kind of cute that makes me laugh just looking at his face.

Then, there's the seashell decor.  As a former shell collector, I still have a serious affinity for anything to do with shells.  And it's so pretty!

Also, I don't know about where you are, but it was really warm this week, 70+ Fahrenheit, and as far as I'm concerned, spring is here.  With spring comes the beginning of wedding season; in fact, our anniversary is coming up on March 28.  I just love the custom banners and wedding invitation shadow box.  Had I known Debbi 3 years ago, it's likely one of those banners would've made an appearance at our wedding too.

There's lots more in the shops, so go have a look.  And to keep up with her, be sure to check out her blog.

thank your for the kind words. I have to say the shells are my new favorite. They were a thrift store find that I "updated". heehee
